Country Music - Bryan White
Bryan White was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, on February 17, 1974. He was raised in Oklahoma City, with traditional family values and country music ingrained into his childhood. White takes his role as an artist seriously, studying and practicing music daily, while depicting a sense of charm and politeness learned in his youth. White became one of country music stars of the 90's, with four number one hits. He got his start as a drummer in his parents' band, and his emergence into Nashville's country scene earned his teen idol status. With five number one hits like "Rebecca Lynn" and "Someone Else's Star", he has developed a following. White has received much media attention, with appearances on talk shows and features in magazines. His awards include CMA's Horizon Award in 1996, ACM named him Top New Male Vocalist; he was CMT's Rising Star of the Year, and has received numerous humanitarian awards for his support of families who were victims of the Oklahoma City Bombings, as well as other charitable causes. White has toured with LeAnn Rimes, written songs for Diamond Rio, Joe Diffie and numerous others, and has recorded with his mentor, Steve Wariner, and superstar Shania Twain.
