Country Music - Brad Cotter
Born September 29, 1970, in Auburn, Alabama, Brad Cotter's career began in gospel music. He started recording gospel albums at the age of eleven and continued until he was 17. Influenced by Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Marvin Gaye, he turned toward country music and moved to Nashville in 1993. He landed publishing and label development deals while earning a living as a demo singer. In 2004, Cotter was named the winner of the reality television show, Nashville Star, singing a song he wrote with Rick Giles and Steve Bogard titled "I Meant To". "I Meant To" became his debut single for his 2004 debut album "Patient Man" on the Epic label.
